Herbs and Vegetable Plants
Whether you're aiming to create the kitchen garden of your dreams, or just add a bit of freshness to your cooking, herbs and vegetable plants are a great investment.
We stock a wide range of herbs and vegetable plants here in Mickley. 1 Litre herb pots are available at £5 each or 3 for £12 and 9cm pots are £3 each or 4 for £10.
Herbs
Herbs are a great addition to your garden and to your cooking! If you only have space for a few pots on your windowsill, grab a selection of our 9cm herbs, on offer at 4 for £10. Basil, parsley and rosemary fare particularly well when grown indoors.
Our 9cm pots are also a good way to fill your garden, or go for more established plants in 1 litre pots, at £5.00 each or 3 for £12. Many of these herbs are perennials, giving flavour and fragrance for many years. They can be beautiful too, and plants such as lavender and thyme are great for pollinators.
Vegetables
We offer a selection of vegetable plants to keep your garden or allotment well-stocked, from leafy brassicas to delicious root veg! A good mix of vegetables will look good on your plate and in the garden, and clever planning can keep you harvesting for months on end.
If you have space for a greenhouse, plants like peppers and cucumbers will thrive in the warmth, and we stock a diverse range of tomatoes, from tiny cherry toms to mighty beefsteaks. These are available at the start of the season as small plants in 9cm pots, or try to raise your own from our range of seeds.
There’s always space to sneak in a few veggies, even in the smallest garden! If you only have space for a few pots, try growing your own salad by planting them up with lettuce, radish and miniature carrots.
In Store
Our selection of vegetables changes seasonally, so pop in store to find out what we have at the moment!
At certain times of year we also stock perennial veg grown from tubers, such as ginger, artichoke and potatoes, as well as garlic and onion sets. Seeds are on sale year round, with our range expanding over summer.
